Hi my name is Ruth, but my closest family and friends know me as Ruma. I am a native Puerto Rican raised in New York City. I have always been fascinated with fashion trends. From a young age my mother taught us (my two sisters and brother) to be wise when spending money, especially when it came to buying clothes. I would purchase reasonably priced and very affordable clothing; making my outfits appear more expensive than what in the end I had actually paid; adding my own twist to the most common and popular styles. Now that I am older I delight not only in dressing in such a way that makes me look and feel good, but also providing insightful fashion tips, and even helping to style other people. Ultimately, I hope to inspire others to find the beauty that lies within, which as a result will manifest itself outwardly and aesthetically.
